CTAP 1 focuses on bringing funding into the region by:
  • Conducting regular education technology planning workshops
  • Reading and grooming districts’ technology related RFA applications and Education Technology Plans
  • Training and supporting districts' completion of CDE’s annual California School Technology Survey (CSTS) and Ed Tech Profile survey
  • Posting the CTAP 1 Funding Alert Newsletter
  • Posting resources and templates
  • Answering county, district and school leaders’ questions and requests for information to support their planning and grant application process.

This newsletter is published 5 times per year and provides the latest information on K-12 educational grant opportunities, product donations, awards, competitions and professional development.

Funding for school technology from the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 used in classrooms to improve student academic achievement. Funds are distributed through formula and competitive grants.
