Overview
CTAP Region 1, the California Technology Assistance Project, is a group of regional consortia who provide technical assistance to county offices of education, districts and schools on issues related to educational technology.
CTAP works to facilitate collaboration among existing projects and services and to promote the development of regional support structures, consistent with regionally developed technology-use plans, that emphasize interagency and interprogram coordination.
Region 1 encompasses an area of over 11,000 square miles and stretches over 400 miles along the Highway 101 corridor. The area is primarily rural and the major industries are fishing, lumber, and agriculture.
CTAP Region 1 encompasses districts in Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, and Sonoma Counties. Mendocino is the lead educational agency.
